Simple e-signature
The signer draws or types their signature. Quick, for low-risk documents.
During a call you can open a shared whiteboard to review a document together and collect signatures on it β useful for contracts, handovers and consent forms, all without leaving the call.
In a call, open Files and choose Whiteboard to open the shared view.
Open the document you want to review β everyone in the call sees the same page.
Annotate together, then request a signature when youβre ready.
Sonar supports three levels of signature, so you can match the legal weight the situation needs:
Simple e-signature
The signer draws or types their signature. Quick, for low-risk documents.
Advanced signature
A stronger signature that captures additional proof of who signed and when.
AES (with SMS verification)
An Advanced Electronic Signature where the signer confirms their identity with a one-time code sent by SMS before signing.
On the shared document, choose request a signature and pick the signature type (simple, advanced, or AES).
Select who signs from the people on the call. You can request signatures from more than one signer in turn.
The signer draws or confirms their signature β for AES, they first enter the code sent to their phone.
The signed document is saved with the call for later review.
